Suzuka Circuit Parking Guide for the F1 Japanese Grand Prix
Official parking sells out fast — often before the general public has a chance to buy. Here is every option, when to book, and what to expect on race day.
When to Book — Parking Decision Timeline
Suzuka parking is a time-sensitive problem. The earlier you act, the better your options.
Add official parking pass during ticket purchase — do not skip this step
Official parking is sold bundled with race tickets via the official F1 Japan website. If available, it's the cleanest option. Add it at checkout — you cannot buy it separately later.
Book on akippa for a guaranteed reserved spot near the circuit
akippa aggregates private residential and commercial spots near the circuit. These are the only guaranteed reservations outside official parking. Popular spots sell out 4-6 weeks before race day — book now.
Check Toku P for remaining private lots — some still have availability
Toku P (特P) aggregates dozens of private lots near the circuit. Quality and distance vary — read individual lot reviews. Good lots at this stage fill up quickly, so act fast.
Walk-in private lots and Park & Ride — arrive early to secure a spot
Popular walk-in lots like ひまわり and FUJI fill by 7:00 AM on race day. Park & Ride is more reliable since it's an organized lot with shuttle service. Arrive before 7:30 AM to guarantee a spot.
Official Circuit Parking
Drive directly into the circuit grounds. Closest option but requires a pre-purchased parking pass (sold with race tickets).
Booking: Add during race ticket purchase at the official F1 Japan site. Cannot be purchased separately once tickets are bought.
Park & Ride
Park at a remote lot and take a shuttle bus to the circuit. No parking pass needed — first come, first served.
Booking: No advance booking — walk-in on race day. Arrive before 8:00 AM on race day for best availability.
